North Adriatic Sea Port Authority
The North Adriatic Sea Port Authority plays a key role for the development and promotion of the Veneto Port System fostering infrastructures and increasing port performances and traffic.
It is a non-economic public body which directs, plans, coordinates, promotes and controls port operations. At the top of the Adriatic Sea, the Veneto Port System – with the ports of Venice and Chioggia – is the closest access to Europe’s main manufacturing centres. At the crossroads of two European transport corridors (core port of the Ten-T network), it’s an efficient “intermodal hub” and a multipurpose port system, capable of handling all types of cargo and it is committed to the green transition.
Established under a specific Government Decree, the Simplified Logistics Zone “Porto di Venezia – Rodigino” is an important competitive asset: tax credit schemes and simplified administrative and regulatory procedures will make the area more attractive for national and foreign investors.
