The project involves the construction of a multi-level parking garage in the “Marittima” area in Venice, located at the end of the Ponte della Libertà. This port zone (which is maritime state property) lies west of the historic city, nestled between Tronchetto Island and Piazzale Roma. Designed to serve port operators, cruise passengers, residents, commuters, and public administrations, the parking facility will prioritize architectural appeal and energy-efficient solutions, alongside offering a range of additional services. These elements will not only enhance the project’s profitability but also create a vibrant space in this strategically important area for both the port and the city of Venice. The feasibility study outlines a five-story structure capable of accommodating approximately 5,400 parking spaces, with nearly half allocated for short-term parking and the remainder designated for subscribers and public administrations. The open area will be used for surface parking.
