Tor Vergata “Le Vele”

PROPERTY

The overall urban regeneration project for the Tor Vergata complex includes the partial functionalization of the “Palasport,” which will be upgraded to include an open-air arena to host events for the 2025 Jubilee. Additionally, the northern area of the Calatrava-designed Vele complex will be transformed into green space, including internal roadways and parking facilities. The project will also address and complete all previously unfinished infrastructure works from the initial phase of the Calatrava-designed project. Access to the “Palasport” will be designed through scenic green spaces, and the complex will have maximum spatial permeability, with seating for 8,000 spectators (16,000 across common areas and the arena).
